You've convinced us. My husband and I have just been to the site YouTube and this man's name is everywhere. We must've spent hours watching his videos, and we LOVE everything about his message. He truly has exceptional values that we most identify with.

And now seeing your letter in the Post seems like fate. It tells me that good Coloradans are coming around too. There is a real honest to goodness movement emerging here. It has once and for all convinced my husband and I to withdraw our support of Romney and push for Ron Paul. Thank You.

I admire Dr. Paul's courage in the face of great opposition and disinformation about his campaign. It's not all that complicated really. His consistent and wise voting record as a 10 term congressman say it all. Please take a look before passing judgement. Thanks.

Ron Paul is a nut. There...I said it. I feel better now.

Libertarian ideals may have been reasonable 100 years ago, but in the modern world, you can't dismantle the federal government and most of it's departments (which were created, based on public need), shift everything to the impoverished states to deal with and then expect us to be secure from enemies, prepared for the future and able to make a decent living without government protection against unscrupulous employers.

Paul is a nice man, well spoken, but totally out of touch with reality. He will never really catch on with Americans, so forget the dream and don't bother wasting your vote on him.

In many ways, I agree that Ron Paul offers a platform that is most closely in step with what I consider an historically accurate (pre-Reagan) Republican stance on most issues . However, I am drawn more to the "macro" view insinuated above: That we are without distinct choices between party candidates.

Personally, it seems obvious in the extreme that both parties are sickeningly beholden to multi-national corporate interests and legislate almost exclusively to increase and maintain the profitability of said corporate entities, at home and abroad, at the expense of sane, conservative foreign and domestic policy. In no way is the current administration conservative or really even "Republican". And the Clinton NAFTA legacy also speakes for itself.

I believe that we are is dire need of a strong, electable third party candidate.Ron Paul is almost that; ironically, his traditional Republican small-government and strong personal rights platform is no longer considered "real Republican" by the voting masses; a tragedy in it's own right, and a serpeate topic worthy of much further discussion.

Ronald Reagan knew enough to get out of the Middle East. I wonder if people who think that Ron Paul's non-interventionist policies aren't Republican also believe that Reagan was not a Republican?

I think you are wasting your time so early in the game. Jay Leno, David Letterman, or Oprah Winfrey will advise the 15 - 30 second sound bite voters by mid-Oct 2008. Popular vote will show how closely most of you follow that advice.

In looking for a real republican I think you all need to ask yourself these questions:

HOW IS ANYONE ELESES REPRODUCTIVE CHOICES ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS? Red China has laws about such things. Do we need to be like them?

GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD EVER BEEN IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERSATION BETWEEN ME AND MY DOCTOR?

To those of you with your RESPECT life plates on your cars: You can respect my life by keeping your nose out of it!

Now find me a Republican that can answer either of those questions and they might get my vote! As I am for smaller government. And don't try to tell me we can't do that. If we quit spending money on WAR and used the savings we could turn this country around.

Of course you all will still need to BUTT out of MY life.

Actually, abortion is not a "reproductive choice." It is a non-reproductive choice. I don't care a hoot what you tell your doctor, just remember for your own sake that he or she charges by the minute. I couldn't care less about what you do with your life--I just don't like Democrats making decisions about what I am supposed to believe "politically correctly," or oppose "politically correctly," or learn as a rewrite of history, again, "politically correctly."
